We're Moving Downtown

The new location for Hoosier Driving Academy will be

200 N. Michigan Street starting July 1.

This summer, Hoosier Driving Academy is moving its main office to a new location. This new downtown location, 200 N. Michigan Street will serve as the new classroom location for students enrolled in the summer session beginning in July.

The new site will offer students a refreshing atmosphere in an open classroom setting, well-lit with natural light and 18-foot high tin ceilings. Hoosier Driving Academy will be the latest business to share co-working space in this downtown office provided by The Midas Center. Co-working provides many benefits to businesses including shared resources, energy and space. Most of all, the parents of the students enrolled in Hoosier Driving Academy classes will benefit from the convenient location and enjoy some of downtown's eateries and shopping during class times.

Last month an announcement of a recent change in ownership was published stating a new curriculum that offers a more hands-on learning experience. Owner Curt Feece shares, "This move to downtown is one of the many changes we are implementing to better meet the needs of our students." This new location for Hoosier Driving Academy will serve as the main office and the class room location for Plymouth sessions starting in July.

Additional classes are offered in a variety of locations throughout the summer and school year, including the current sessions now available at Triton High School and Bass Lake. 1st Summer Session:

Weekdays Only from June 7th (Tuesday) through June 20th (Monday) from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.

2nd Summer Session:

Weekdays Only from June 20th (Monday) through July 1st (Friday) from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.

3rd Summer Session:

Weekdays Only from July 11th through July 22nd from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

At Bass Lake Location:

1st Summer Session:

Weekdays Only from June 20th (Monday) through July 1st (Friday) from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

2nd Summer Session:

Monday Evenings from July 18th through 8th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, then Sunday afternoons from Aug 14th through September 18th.

At Triton High School Location:

Weekdays Only from July 11th through July 22nd from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.

At Argos High School Location:

Recent Changes in Ownership

With a new curriculum that offers a more hands-on learning experience, owner Curt Feece is focused on implementing technology and small group learning into Hoosier Driving Academy’s traditional lecture-driven driver’s education programs.

This shift in curriculum is one of several changes Curt and his new business partners, Phil and Kim Scott, are developing after taking more stake in ownership of the business since Curt’s partner, Greg Renz relinquished his ownership role in the business to allow for more time to focus on other ventures and opportunities. Renz continues his commitment to the driving school as an instructor.
